This eight year old boy was present with a severe open bite. After wearing an almost invisible expansion and a habit breaker appliance combination, he went from picture I to picture II. Our timely intervention and accurate diagnosis resulted with him never having to wear braces.

This eighteen year old, recently completed orthodontic treatment requiring closure of large amounts of space. As is so common following this treatment, the patient was left with gingival (gum) overgrowth. A minor surgical procedure called a gingivectomy resulted in the above result we see in photo II.

Composite bonding combined with sculpting and shaping the teeth: This thirty-year old woman presented to us having recently seen herself on a television interview. She was unhappy with the appearance of her teeth and the space between her two front teeth. We shortened and rounded the bold appearance of the two incisors, while at the same time bonding her space to closure with composite resin. In addition, to the space closure, notice how much more feminine the teeth appear.

This young lady, presented with a gingival recession on her upper right canine tooth. This area of recession was covered with a grafting procedure and after six to eight weeks of healing, her short and worn teeth were veneered to this lovely result.

This thirty-five year old male, presented having lost his lateral incisor. He had an implant placed, but it was positioned inadequately to create a good aesthetic result. Utilizing a superior laboratory technician and a good understanding of the dento-gingival complex (relationship of the tooth to the gum tissue), we were able to take him from photo II to photo III. Note the poor implant placement in photo I and the unattractive appearance of the crown. It's too high and positioned out towards his lip. In photo III, note the proper crown placement and the symmetry of the tooth compared to the same tooth on the opposite side. The natural appearance of the gum tissue closely resembles the rest of the other teeth, creating a healthy looking smile.

This young lady started with a deep over bite and her primary (baby) canine teeth still present. She completed 12 months of orthodontic treatment (braces) followed by a minor surgical procedure to create this beautiful smile.

For those adults suffering with loose dentures, implants can allow you to eat in comfort and smile with confidence, without the worry of denture displacement. This 83 year old gentleman had three implants placed in his lower jaw and a denture made that snaps on to his implants. He is 93 years old today, eating, smiling, and happy with his decision.
