Dr. Renee Andre was born and raised in Plattsburgh, NY. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Minor in Health Services Administration at Siena College. Dr. Andre then attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Upon completion of dental school, she completed a one year general practice residency program serving America’s Veterans at the Boston VA Healthcare System in affiliation with Harvard University.
Her desire to serve and involvement with dentistry began at the age of 13 when she volunteered at “Dentistry From The Heart” in her hometown. This annual event provided free dental care to patients who experienced financial barriers to treatment. Through this experience and her subsequent involvement at that dental practice, she gained perspective on the value of dentistry and its transformative nature from the standpoint of health, comfort, function, and esthetics. Dr. Andre is passionate about providing care to underserved populations and has traveled to Guatemala on two separate occasions to provide dental treatment and to educate the communities about oral health and hygiene. She serves on the board for a non-profit organization called Project Stretch, whose mission is to provide preventative and vital dental treatment to underserved children locally and globally.
Dr. Andre is committed to a career of lifelong learning and collaboration. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and local Seattle Dental Study Club. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is enthusiastic about learning and teaching with her patients and colleagues alike.
When she is not immersed in dentistry, Dr. Andre enjoys running (she is a marathoner), skiing, exploring the Adirondacks, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
