Joella Thomson-Office Manager
Joella started her dental career when she was just 18 years old! First trained as a chairside assistant, she gained knowledge of all aspects of clinical dentistry. Joella also has assisting and management experience in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She joined our team in 2019. Her goal here is to incorporate her experience and knowledge acquired over the years to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families. Joella is also an amateur pool player, who has competed in Canada, Las Vegas, and Pennsylvania. When not playing pool, she enjoys spending downtime with her husband, two daughters, and her dog, Onyx.
Victoria Frangie- Treatment and Financial Coordinator
With over 34 years of dental office experience, Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge to our team. She started working here with Dr. Marra in 1990. Victoria received both on the job office training and also has her Certification in Dental Assisting through the CDAMP program. More recently, Victoria received training for the position of Treatment and Financial Coordinator. She strives to provide a comfortable setting for patients, offering ease in making appointments, insurance information and billing as well as financial choices. She enjoys bike riding, reading, American history, photography and traveling.
Diane Ward-Front Office
Diane started with the Marra team when Dr. Marra first began working in private practice, over 35 years ago! Starting as a dental assistant to Dr. Harry Marra and Dr. Fred Marra, Diane eventually took on the position as Office Manager. In the Winter of 2015, Diane retired to spend more time with her 5 grandchildren. Last year, Diane returned to help us transition a new practice with ours. With the flexible part time hours, she still has plenty of time to spend with her grandkids, travel and watch UAlbany basketball.
Krishna Hill- Registered Dental Hygienist
Krishna started her dental career as a dental assistant in 1992 She joined Dr. Marra’s team when she graduated from Hudson Valley Community College in 1997, earning an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. After a break to raise a family, she returned to Dr. Marra’s staff in 2010. Krishna strives to make every experience at our office a positive one. When not in the office, Krishna enjoys photography, traveling and spending quality time with her 2 sons and her husband, John.
Donna Cruver- Registered Dental Hygienist
Donna has been part of Dr. Marra’s team for over 22 years. She received her dental hygiene degree at Hudson Valley Community College. Donna also helps to run Dr. Marra’s local chapter of the Seattle Study Club. She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients and understanding their wants and needs for their dental health. When she is not working, Donna loves to travel, read and spending time with her husband, Tim.
Erica Sutter- Lead Dental Assistant
Erica received her on the job training directly from Dr. Marra in 2004. In her 12 years working in the office, Erica has had extensive training. She has mastered chair-side assisting, sterilization, lab work and insurance and billing, just to name a few! Regardless of the situation, Erica is always willing to go above and beyond for each patient, ensuring that their care is exceptional and their visit was comfortable. At home, Erica cares for her large array of pets and loves to Kayak with her husband, Kurt. She is also a licensed esthetician!
Natalie Marra- Dental Assistant
Natalie is a Certified Dental Assistant, receiving her training from Hudson Valley Community College and of course her Dad! She has been a team member here since 2014. ‘Growing up’ here at the office, patients love to see the friendly, smiling face they’ve seen and heard about for 25 years. Chairside, Natalie does her best to keep every treatment relaxing and pleasant. Natalie loves to ride horses on her time off. In June of 2016, she was blessed with her baby boy Logan, who now occupies most of her free time.
Shelby Mastan – Dental Assistant
Shelby joined our team in July 2023. She began her dental journey working at the front desk, greeting patients and helping submit insurance claims as well as other administrative tasks. In 2024, Shelby decided she would like to be cross trained as a dental assistant. Shelby quickly learned and acquired the skills to work chairside for all dental procedures and surgeries. She is a true asset to our team. When not at work, Shelby enjoys playing pool and spending quality time with her boyfriend and their dog, Delta!
